Back to the Grind

Morning blog friends!

How was your weekend? Let me just say, I wish it wasn't Monday already. I'm not looking forward to this busy week in front of me. Happy thought, right?

I was a little MIA last night. We went out for dinner with my parents. My mom and I both had a quesadilla explosion salad with no cheese, dressing, or tortilla chips. We also subbed the chicken breast for the restaurants black bean burger. It was heavenly. No pictures though - sorry...

I do have two snacks from yesterday afternoon though. I don't know what it was about yesterday, but I starved all day! Weird.

  • 1/2 cup plain nonfat yogurt
  • 0.2 cup granola
  • 2 strawberries 

  • 1/2 banana
  • 1/2 tbsp natural PB
  • sprinkling of granola
The snacks were so good. 

Now, shall we get back to today? Here was my breaky.

Coffee with almond milk and banana PB oatmeal. 

In the pot:
  • 1/2 cup oatmeal
  • 1/2 banana (cooked in with the oats)
  • 0.2 cup granola
  • 1 tbsp natural peanut butter
Time to hit the gym! I'm scheduled to do 4 miles today. Then I have class at 11 a.m. and another class at 2:00 p.m. I'm not looking forward to since I won't get to see Drew till tomorrow morning. He's working a day shift and a night shift back to back :( 

It's a good thing I have lots of work to keep me busy.
