There's Gotta Be a Better Recipe!

Good evening!

I just came back from a killer biceps, back and abs workout and a trip to the grocery store. Let me just give you all a piece of advice. Refrain from carrying bags full of canned goods right after you've worked your biceps to their last curl. It's a little unpleasant, but especially so when you park far away from your house.

I made something I've been craving since I started experimenting with vegetarian cuisine. Chili!

I grew up eating this stuff. It's been on my favorite meal list for a long time, so I decided if I'm going to be a vegetarian, I need to find a recipe for vegetarian chili!

I wasn't blown away with this chili. It hit all the notes I love about chili, but it is just missing something! I'm really hoping I'm not missing the meat and can recreate a chili recipe I love.

I just realized I didn't record my lunch or snacks of today. Let me back up! Terribly sorry for the reversed order here...

This is a picture of my lunch. About two cups of spinach and my last bean burger. :( sad... I'm gonna have to make more of these babies soon!

When I was in class, I also ate a protein bar. Sorry - no picture. But it was a thinkProtein bar. It had a whopping 20 grams of protein! You know I loved that :)

We were let out of class super early today. I love it when that happens! I came home and made a snack.

  • half an apple
  • 1 tbsp natural PB
  • lots of cinnamon

Time to hit the books... again. One.Month.Left. One month left. ONE MONTH LEFT!
